I am thinking of leasing a car/truck and I wanted to know if there are any outlets/institutions that serve people with a thin or low credit in Boulder/Denver area. I moved to the US about 2 years ago from Germany and I have a credit score in the low 600s (I started of with no credit). I am open to leasing a used vehicle (any brand) also as long as its in a good shape.I am looking for payments around $400-500. I have heard about Dealing Dough but wanted to explore other options as well. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not sure if this would help since I didn't lease but when I was getting started with my credit history (just like you) I went through the Edmunds.com to get my loan through Capital One and Up2Drive. I had a credit score in the 750's but my credit history was so short it didn't matter my score was good. Going into the dealership without pre-approval, the finance department wouldn't even give me a second though too so I left those dealerships without even bothering to respond to their e-mails.

Once I was pre-approved, the finance departments in the dealerships I then went to took me seriously and actually got me approved for a loan through their methods (which of course was better than what Capital One or Up2Drive was offering).

I was not aware that Edmunds also gave out or helped with loans. I thought it just gave information about cars.
