I have a 6 years old son with HFA. We are thinking to move to Boulder area from MD. We have no idea how spec ed works there. Anyone know which elementary in Boulder area offers spec ed? Anyone doing homeschooling, or other alternatives for their kids in spec ed needs? I'd be happy to hear your experiences. Thanks

I have friends with children that have varying special education needs and their children are at Aspen Creek K-8. This school is in the Boulder Valley School District but located in the suburb of Broomfield. It might be worth investigating.

We have a daughter who attended special ed. We were happy with the education she received. She attended Eisenhower Elementary, Louisville Middle School and Monarch Middle and High School. A great organization for information is Imagine! They have helped us a lot. imaginecolorado.org You can also get information from the Boulder Valley School District. BVSD.org
