Hello,

Does anyone know about the Baseline project in Broomfield, 80023? Would this area be desirable for looking at houses once the construction begins? There have been lot of discussions about fracking in this area however development does not seem to have been affected. Any insight/thoughts would be helpful.

The marketing material is vomit inducing.

If you are the first buyer you are taking a big risk that the development plan will work. You're sort of a partner without voting rights. If the economy takes a bad turn or the plan isn't marketable you will be living in a half completed development for years and have trouble selling.

It's better to wait until phase 2.

Thank you for the response. I agree it is early to invest in this project. I saw an existing housing community called North Park (now renamed as baseline based on the marketing material) and also that some development activity going near baseline and sheridan. Makes sense to wait and see how the plans shape up. Any recommendations for newer /new housing in Broomfield or near by?

We are looking for a home in Broomfield (me and my wife work near US36) and our budget is max $500K for 3Bed 2+bath. We realized we like newer houses and Superior was out of budget. So we were looking for houses on the outskirts of Broomfield. Any recommendations in Broomfield would be appreciated.

There are three builders listed in Broomfield. You also should check out midtown in Adams County and Arvada south side of 36 but still building.

Thank you for your recommendations. Can you please share the three builders listed in Broomfield? I am not sure how I can find the list. I checked midtown at clear creek in Adams county and they look good, maybe more closer to Denver than Broomfield. But the homes are good and we are planning to tour the area.

Ask your real estate broker. They have access to the same information I do.
