Where do you live in Boulder County? And how far are you prepared to drive to see a doctor or dentist? I have a great dentist in Lyons who works Fridays and Saturday mornings but his partner does regular hours I think. My doctor at the Kaiser Permanente building in Boulder was very good but that was a couple of years ago.

I will live in Lafayette so anywhere in Boulder county is fine. From what I heard there are lots of md's in the county so I hoped to have a good choice. I am mostly concerned about the pediatrician recommendation

It's really hard to make those recommendations because it's such an individual preference.

Alysia, I would highly recommend you pediatrician Dr. Francisco Beuf. My daughter, niece and nephew were patients of Dr. Beuf when we lived in Boulder. I cannot tell you how happy my sister and I were with our pediatrician. Dr. Beuf is 100% patient-oriented. His absolute priority - patients. If your child got sick on weekend, be sure Dr. Buef will not send you to ER if he thinks there any danger to your child. He is high level professional: sharp mind, warm heart.
However, I heart the rumor that Dr. Beuf is going to retire soon.

I've been extremely happy with Centennial Valley Pediatrics, located in Louisville, 303-666-7337.

As for OB/Gyn I would highly recommend Dr. Daniel Austin at the Boulder Medical Center, Avista. His office is in Louisville, next to Avista Hospital. His office number is 303-665-1045.

General practice = Dr. John Spine, Erie Colorado.

he is the best. I have a kid who would pretend to be sick when he knew we were going to the doc, just so he would be included & see doc himself.
