I would like to work in Colorado after I finish my degree, but do I need to inform anyone that I would like to do so since I live in Indiana. Can you work in any state after you take the NCLEX?

That is a question to ask your nursing instructors. You can also google the Colorado Board of Nursing.

Yes after you pass the NCLEX you can apply for licensure in another state. After you pass the NCLEX go to that particular states board of nursing website and the process of applying for state licensure is pretty self explanatory. No you do not have to take separate boards for another state. Only state that is difficult to gain licensure in is California and one other state I believe. Just focus on passing your boards, you'll apply after you pass .
