Just wanted to chime in and give thanks for this awesome weather. It was warmer here today than Las Vegas! People were out rocking shorts, tons of road bikes and motorcycles. When I arrived home tonight it even smelled like spring; so nostalgic

I’m originally from upstate NY so winters NEVER get above 50 degrees, nor do you see the sunshine much from October to April, bummer. Every month longer I'm here, the more impressed I get..

Enjoy it while it lasts. It seems like when it's cold here, it's warm in Colorado and vice versa.

It's been almost down right hot when I've gone running lately, but I love it! And the wind just adds to my workout....
Even if it's in the 30's frankly, as long as the sun is shining, it can feel warm. I know there is a lot of winter yet to come, but I also feel like we've turned the corner - days are getting longer so I'm not feeling so cooped up.

Can't complain... it's been very nice. It's been warmer here than in Florida! But a change is a comin' I can see it out my window. We need some moisture up here so I am hoping for snow tonight.

Here's a question for you Colorado people: Are the occasional 60/70 degree days in the winter a good thing or a bad thing? It gets cold again shortly after these warm spells. Isn't it hard to go back to winter weather when you just got Spring weather? Seems like the weather teases you.

I personally love the breaks from winter--I couldn't handle a climate that stayed cold all winter long..It does tease a bit at times when it feels like spring in January..

I've grown to enjoy it. We came here from central Illinois, where there was no such thing as a "January thaw". BTW, my brother told me today the Ohio River in Pittsburgh is frozen, a rarity.

I'm an optimist.. When its 70 in Jan, I take it and run with it. But the best part is: The highs are normally 30-40 but with very low humidity so we can romp around in hoodies and light jackets during the day if we want. I ride my motorcycle all year round as long as there is no snow on the road, you can ride!

I really am looking forward to a few months of green foothills though. So gorgeous!
