Longmont, Lafayette, Erie, Louisville

It all depends on what you're looking for, how much you want to spend, where you'll be working, how far you're willing to commute, what schools you need, etc, etc

Probably the Boulder corridor suburbs of Broomfield, Louisville, Superior, and the others that chilaili has mentioned.

Louisville is pretty family friendly (#1 best place to live on some list), Broomfield is centrally located between Denver and Boulder and has a large mall, basically you'll have to define your request a bit more.

Longmont and Erie will be the most reasonable. Broomfield will likely appreciate the most with Conoco Phillips moving in slowly over the next decade.
