So Sergio Martinez agrees to fight Pacquiao at 150 Lbs if he beats Marquez..

I think its a little low for Martinez but he was just fighting at 147 early last year..so not too bad..but i think it'll be dangerous for Pacquiao cuz after the weigh in and Sergio rehydrates, he could easily go into the fight at 160+ with Manny at 146/147..

Interesting.

What you guys think?

It would be exciting, no doubt. I kinda doubt it happens though. In this video @ 1:13 he says that he would fight Sergio, but then kinda mumbles something about his promoter and then something else that I can't make out:

Another take on the situation: Manny Pacquiao (http://www.opposingviews.com/i/sports/boxingmma/manny-pacquiao%E2%80%99s-unreasonable-response-sergio-martinez - broken link)
I don't think Arum's interested and it's understandable I guess...

It would be an interesting fight. I think Martinez is one of the few guys in that weight range who has a legitimate shot at beating Manny. He has a very unorthodox style and his stamina is unmatched.

When you look at what's out there after Marquez, there isn't a whole lot of top tier talent to make for a competitive fight that the fans want to see. I do suspect that Martinez would dry out to make weight and enter the ring at about 160 - 162, but that doesn't always give a fighter a big advantage. It's draining on the body to dry out like that 24 hours prior to a fight. The fighter whose walking around weight is closer to his weigh-in weight sometimes has the advantage.

I would certainly pay to see that fight. Two of my favorites boxing each other!

No way will Arum sacrifice his cash cow to fight at that weight class.
