You just gotta love news like this!

Burglar left bruised and bleeding by retired boxer, 72 - Telegraph

This is the second time this year I've heard or read something similar.

Earlier this year - I believe it was in Nevada - a loser in his late 20's attempted to rob a 70-something year old man. The attempted robbery was caught on a survaillance camera. The old guy was a former US Marine and recently retired Iron Worker. In the video, the old guy was seen stiffly pummelling the youngster into submission. The robber was apprehended and sentenced.

An older former co-worker of mine had been an Infantry Soldier in his South African homeland. He stopped to get gas one night after work. A young punk tried to rob him at knife point. According to my co-worker, he moved right into the robber's knife, grabbed him by the wrist, kicked him in the nuts, and broke the knife blade between a sidewalk expansion joint. The would be robber ran away.
