How good or bad would you say Ward's resume is? Just as a reminder, he's fought and beaten:
Froch
Kessler
Bika
Abraham
Green
Dawson
I'd say it's very good. He's fought and beaten most of the top fighters in his weight class, many of them in dominant fashion. However, there are a couple of names missing, such as Bute and the Dirrells.
As it is though, it's a very good resume, especially when you consider he hasn't even had 30 fights yet.
If Ward had one punch knockout power, I can't think of anyone at 160-175 who would be favorite against him.
I rate him right up there at the top of the 168/175 divisions. I think he could beat Bute and Dirrell. He would spank Hopkins and Cloud and Pascal aren't even worth mentioning.
I hope he gets a chance to fight and ultimately beat down Chavez Jr and maybe meet Martinez at a catch weight of 165.
I think he has an excellent resume. He's faced the tough fighters and beaten them. I wish him well and I hope he maintain that high standard for years to come. I'd like to see him retire undefeated one day.
I think he is going to get put into that same category of Paul Williams and at one point Margarito which is "high risk low reward" and he will get ducked from big name fighters or any significant pay day
His resume is excellent.. He's fought some of the best in his division, although I think he needs to fight more outside of Oakland, so he can build a wider fan base.
