I hope Hatton hands Mayweather's cocky/arrogant ass to him, in all honesty. Hatton is more than capable of doing it too.
I'm glad that you were wrong. Mayweather is superior, strong, versatile, confident, energetic, vibrant, brilliant, tactical, prepared, disciplined, focused, humble, confrontational, direct, frank, candid, professional, rich, famous, charismatic, best in his field, qualified, and real. Usually a black man in such a position is designated as "arrogant" or "cocky" by those less-informed.
AFter that fight, I have no problem mentioning Floyd among the all-time great welterweights. Right up there with Leonard, Hagler, Whitaker. He impressed the hell out of me.
Well I wanted Hatton to win but Mayweather from when the bell had first gone was all over Hatton and it was just a matter of time before he would take it he was like a ghost around the ring I have to say he is a brilliant fighter and amazing to watch.

Actually, I changed my mind. After watching the fight again, I dont think we can as of yet say Floyd is one of the "All Time" great welterweights. His performance was masterful but until he faces a few more top tier fighters (Cotto, Rahim, Mosely, Margarito) I cannot rank him among the all time greats.
Defeating an aging, slowing Delahoya a washed up Judah and a woefully undermatched Hatton does not a great fighter make.
I just watched the replay on HBO. I thought Mayweather would win (see earlier post), but definatley not by TKO.
I really wish he would let his hands go, because when he does he makes fights very exiting. Unfortunately, he doesn't very often, so I don't really get into this fights.
Also, I see a great mega fight with he and Miguel Cotto on the horizon.

So do I. I think the reason he doesn't let his hands go is self-preservation. His hands are brittle and he's had problems with them in the past. Seems like he can lay it on hard every once in awhile.
i would love to see a Mayweather vs. Cotto fight. I hope they make it happen. I would also like to see Mayweather vs. Mosely but I doubt Mayweather would want to fight another aging ex champ who would give him fits.
