How about California native and United States Olympian Karlos Balderas?

He is 7-0 with 6 knockouts and looks to rule the 130 pound division. He just fought last night, his opponent didn't answer the bell for the 4th round. I see him as a multi division champion much like Oscar DeLaHoya was.

Another is Mikey Garcia, he may be the best Hispanic American boxer in the planet. He is a 39-0 World Champion, also from California. He will be moving up an unheard of two weight classes to fight an undefeated World Champion and much bigger Errol Spence Jr. on March 16th.
Mikey chose him for the challenge, and I think Mikey can beat him, even though most boxing "experts" don't give Mikey a chance due to Spence's huge size advantage.

Mikey Garcia is American with Mexican ancestry. When you mentioned not Mexican, I thought you meant not from Mexico.

If that is the case, Karlos Balderas doesn't count either, he too was born in the US, but is also of Mexican ancestry.

If you are interested in past boxers, look for Roberto Duran of Panama. One of the best boxers in history
