I just read about this punch in female boxing and I found it quite impressive. I know that to be honest when it comes down to female boxing there aren't many pure knockout punches but this punch was awesome. Unarguably one of the hardest yet underrated Knockout punch ever in female boxing is Canadian boxer Jelena Mrdjenovich absolutely leveling Franchesca Alcanter with one left hook. In a fight in 2005 Jelena threw such a hard punch that Franchesca's jaw shattered upon impact, she lost 3 teeth which you can see flying out in the video at 9:13 and see suffered a grade 2 concussion. Ouch! What makes the knockout even more interesting is that Franchesca, who is an African American woman, made many racist remarks about Jelena, who is a Canadian white woman, before the fight where Jelena injured Franchesca. Here's a video of the KO, it's from 8:50-9:55 in a movie about Jelena's career. If the link doesn't work just search up Jlena the film. What do you think of the punch?

Here's a picture of the KO http://forum.canucks.com/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=https://www.womenboxing.com/biog/display/777Mrdjenovichalcanter8.jpg&key=a60d8f4562188fd077 f0542e09807986167c50a8867b805d1451a218c20aa088[/url]

01) Franchesca never saw the punch coming, it was rising up obliquely and obscured by Franchesca's own deltoid, as they say it is the punch you never see coming that gets you
02) After missing the punch as she did, Franchesca's entire vagus nerve system was lite up, so it not a surprise she dropped, it had the same effect as a strike to the occipital nerve
03) The punch was timed perfectly and Franchesca moved her head into the punch, in effect creating a force multiplier that greatly magnified the effect of the punch

As I said, the punch was beautifully timed.

You can see nearly the same thing during classic Duran vs Barkley match. At 39:25 you can find it, Duran throws the same combination as Franchesca and Barkley does the same thing Jelena did, except Barkley delivers it from a crouch, Duran does not see it coming and is pivoted a ful 180 degrees by the impact. The difference, Duran did not move his head into the punch as Franchesca did, hence a vastly different outcome.
