I actually felt a bit sorry for Wilder, there was blood coming from his ear, his mouth and he had cuts to his eyes.

Then again it's him or you in boxing, and I am pleased Tyson won.

Fury really controlled the fight. I was expecting more out of Wilder.

TBF one your ear drum is perforated (burst) then your balance goes, and you are all over the place, and you could see Wilder was having problems.

Not sure about Fury sticing his tongue out to taste Wilders blood - yuk.

Ear drum was not burst just a bad cut inside the ear which needed, I think, 6 stitches. He was rocked and has bad footwork - esp. going backwards and getting pounded.

He was rushed to hoispital with a suspected burst ear drum, and I am glad it wasn't burst.

However he did take a hell of a beating which ever whay you look at it.

I hope that Fury and Anthony Joshua can now meet in a fight that would see the winner unify a lot of the heavyweight belts.

Fury 6'9, 273 lbs Wilder 6'7, 231 lbs.
To be brutally honest, I'm surprised Fury didnt beat the crap out of him similarly in the first fight. When one guy has such a physical advantage, he should win 99% of the time against a smaller guy if the skill levels are equal, and it's obvious that Fury has the better boxing fundamentals, it should be a no brainer.

It's why I always gave Tyson major props for even having the career he had. Based on his physical attributes, he should have been a complete scrub. He was 5'10, 220lbs even worse than Wilder. I dont think he had a fight where he was the physically bigger fighter, yet he was able to win against all but the very best.
