Manny Pacquiao wanted 60-40 and then 55-45. Ricky Hatton wanted 50-50. Top Rank head, Bob Arum, was reaching for 52-48. After everything was said and done, Pacquiao has reportedly agreed to a modified 52-48 split. Arum, according to some reports, had to reach into his own pocket and offer a higher guarantee in order to close the deal with Manny. Pacquiao-Hatton goes forward on May 2 in Las Vegas.
Gareth Williams, Hatton's attorney, says their deal is still 50-50, but whatever split Arum works out with Pacquiao is "between them" and has nothing to do with Hatton.

i have an interest in a pacquiao, mayweather fight. the conflicted styles would be very interesting, as well as the size is more comparable than other fighters each of them have faced.

I HOPE it's finally. After calling off the fight on Wednesday when Pac still hadn't signed the contract, and now reading it's back on at a 52:48 split, I'm beginning to wonder if this fight will actually happen!!
If all this back and forthing isn't drummed up for promotion sake, I hope the frustration between the two camps will translate to a whopper of a great fight once they're in the ring. I mean good grief all ready. I think Freddie Roach needs to slap Pacquiao upside the head. He's just quibbling at this point.
