NEW YORK -- HBO Sports reported today that one million pay-per-view buys were generated from last Saturday’s welterweight fight between Floyd Mayweather and Juan Manuel Marquez at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The fight was promoted by Mayweather Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions.
Many on the other side, who ran away from Boxing because they didn't grow up with it or prefer the glorified wrestling matches that is MMA, would like to believe that Boxing is a dead sport.

If Floyd can break 1 million fighting Marquez, just imagine what the numbers are going to look like against Pac
Mayweather VS Pacquiao would be an awesome thing for the sport of Boxing, too bad Floyd's ego is too big to make it work. Those two will never fight.
What do you all think will be the PPV Numbers for Juan Manuel Lopez? I'm thinking 150,000-250,000...nowhere near the numbers because Lopez's opponent is a joke for a PPV event, I certainly wouldn't pay $50 for it. The undercard seems awesome though.
