Two good fights scheduled for tomorrow night on HBO.
Pavlik is going to have his hands full with Martinez. Martinez will be coming forward and taking the fight to him all night, and he has an edge in quickness. Pavlik is still a one dimensional fighter and if he isn't in top condition for this fight he can find himself running out of steam in the later rounds. Martinez sets a frantic pace, but he's also been padding his record with inferior opposition in Europe for most of the last decade. He suffered a TKO loss to Margarito ten years ago, and held his own against Kermit Cintron prior to the Williams fight. Boxer against slugger, should make for a good action fight. I think I still give the edge to Pavlik for his solid chin and power right hand.
Bute and Miranda should be an action packed fight from round one until someone gets KO'd. I doubt this goes into the late rounds, but it should be a good fight while it lasts. They've both faced similar talent in opposition, but Bute is the bigger, stronger guy and should be able to come out ahead on this one by TKO victory in the mid-rounds. Miranda is always dangerous though, and I don't think it will be easy for Bute.
