Tomorrow night on HBO. This should be a good fight as they are evenly matched for the most part. Williams is a non-stop puncher with a not-so-granite but respectable chin, and Cintron is a good all around fighter with good power who typically moves forward. I think this will be a good action fight. Tough to pick a winner for this one, but I think I'm giving the edge to Williams.

Cintron's only losses were two TKO's to Margarito, which are now in question due to the loaded gloves issue. He also fought to a draw with Sergio Martinez who many people felt deserved the win over Williams. However, I think Williams has weathered the storm from harder punchers and should be able to take Cintron's best so long as he doesn't get hit too often. Regardless, it'll be one to watch.

The end result of this fight seemed completely irrational. I thought I heard Kermit say he was fine, he was even waving his arms about, but the doctor would not allow him to move. Does anybody know the status of Kermit? I would predict that he is fine but there is still the possibility that he was hurt.

That was a very strange ending. My guess is that Cintron is fine. He probably said something when the doctors got to him about his neck or back being hurt, and they decided to not let him continue as a precaution. I hated to see it end that way; I think it was going to end up being a good fight despite the slow start.

I agree. It did have the makings of a good fight. Cintron is fine though. I think an immediate rematch should be ordered so this fight can run to its natural conclusion.

I think so too. It doesn't look like that is going to happen which is a shame if it doesn't. I would like to see the rematch.
