My husband and I are potentially moving to the Bozeman area in a couple of years and I would like to ask how receptive the community might be to holistic health/ food stores, nutritionists, herbalist practitioners, yoga studios and other natural health services? I would be moving my practice and am assessing the community's preferences and needs to better tailor my business contribution. In particular, would a service providing a positive, child-specific edcuational center for environmentally-conscious activities, organic community garden, health and wellness talks and nutrition counseling be a good addition to the community? Thank you so much for your time and input! With gratitude, An optomistic mom

Personally, I have little to say about this. If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

There is a food co-op in town that seems to have mostly organic food. As far as the other things mentioned, I would be surprised if none of those weren't there already.

Better yet, do a traffic study as part of your business model. The town is pretty diverse in it's disposable income levels. A transvestite stopped me on the street the other day and asked if I knew any place that offered "hot yoga". I had to look it up on the net.

You may have a niche if you offer yoga for dogs.

Most of these services are probably available in Boze already, it is a university town, and tends to have that type of "granola" feel to it. You would find a fairly receptive atmosphere, IMO. Good Luck.
