I'm considering a move to Bozeman and was wondering what work is available in the TV/Movie/Video industry? Thanks.

There are some film production companies in and around Bozeman that do local stuff and stock video. Grizzly Creek, Peachtree, Hiline. Try contacting them. My grandfather was an extra on Amazging Grace and Chuck in 1987. (He was a neighbor in a bathrobe). But the main crew was from Hollywood.

The work is sparse, but you can register with the state database for film crew workers here:

hope that helps

Great, THANKS!! Very helpful. Looking for both film and corporate video work so seems like there may be enough opportunities to keep me busy. Thanks again.

Not much unless you are involved in the Film school at MSU. I have a degree in Music Business and AV Production and do most of my work with national clients and not in Bozeman - just not any work here in this field.

LOL! Los Angeles, NYC...that's it. Otherwise, choose a new industry!
