Hi! We are considering relocating to Montana. My husband is a pilot and he will need to start all of his trips from either Denver or Las Vegas. Would you all say that of all the larger cities in Montana, that Bozeman has the most flights to Denver and Las Vegas? I went through all of the flight schedules and it appears that Denver looks pretty promising (6 flights per day). Does the airport ever close in the winter?

I don't have to fly much anymore, but Billings has more daily flights than Bozeman on a year round basis.

Bozeman airport has certainly expanded its service since the time I lived there. For quite some time it was only Salt Lake and Minneapolis but plenty more have been added and the airport has greatly expanded. The airport doesn't close any more often than any other northern airport. I flew out of there once when it was -20 and two feet of snow.

It's an awesome airport. It's the fastest growing airport in the US. Did you and your husband make the move?
