If so, where is it? I'm thinking of opening a coffee shop there

Not yet, but there is talk of putting one in downtown. There are several coffee/internet places here.

I find it hard to believe that Bozeman doesn't have a Starbucks....... being since they are all hotsy-totsy about everything else.

We've even got a Starbucks in Great Falls, but they can't compare to some of our other locally owned coffee outlets, that have a larger variety to choose from.

Hah. I know Helena has three Starbucks, so I figured Bozeman'd at least have five or six. Starbucks doesn't do franchises, though, which is kind of annoying.

Yeah, there's a mini one in the Barnes & Noble. Everybody hates it and they charge for WiFi there. The downside for you is that there is a coffee shop every five feet downtown.

Not sure if that is a Starbucks or they just sell the namebrand coffee.

Bozeman has a few great little coffee shops called Rocky Mountain Roasting Company. They roast all their own coffee right in Bozeman and it is WAY better than Starbucks.

I'll stick with my coffee pot's. Electric one for home and the notorious percolator for camping! (mmmm nothing like camp coffee)

Default Why Starbucks???

What is so great about Starbuck's coffee? It always tastes like burnt coffee.
I used to live in a city filled with Starbuck's, but their coffee is my last choice when I am looking for a coffee shop. (But, I am only looking for coffee, not a social scene)

There is a City Brew on N. 19th Ave in Bozeman, but again, it tastes like it is burnt most of the time, as well.

The best, though these are only drive throughs, so if you want the ambiance of a Starbuck's, it won't be here, but the best coffe is Jump Start Espresso on N. 7th, in the Bozeman Inn parking lot. Great coffee and great service.

Perhaps you just like to hang out at a Starbuck's type of place. Well, downtown is Wild Joe's, it has a great atmosphere.

Personally I think we're overloaded with coffee places. Going down our main drag there are 6 and one on the way. I'd much rather patronize a local company than any national one especially starbutts...
