I just saw this news report showing tar balls on cocoa beach... they "think" it could be from an oil tanker off shore but are testing to see if it could be from the deepwater horizon. is that just insane sensationalist magical thinking at work? how on earth could the oil get over there and skip the rest of the peninsula??

how could that seem more likely than it coming from the tanker that's off shore. is this for ratings? to mess with tourism? what are they doing??

not to mention...
"If it wasn't for the situation in the Gulf, "they probably would not have attracted as much attention," said Brevard County spokeswoman Kimberly Prosser.Tar balls are not a rare sight along the beach, she said." holy moly.

Lets just whip up everyone into a hysterical frenzy. that's a good plan.
