Any thoughts on Cocoa West? Why I asked because my mom went down there to shop around (new homes) and she told me cocoa west is the final answer to move there. I do have doubts about this town for whatever reason that is... I guess its my instincts. I am 31 and I am very used to lifestyle in NY. There must be dunkin donuts near by, shopping center that comes with grocery store, drug store, pizza shop, auto-zone, bar, chinese food kitchen and more etc whatever you can think of. She was telling me Cocoa West is kinda dead...which I am totally clueless what she meant by that.

I've never heard any part of Cocoa referred to as Cocoa West. Is she talking about some new developments on SR 520 that is way west of Cocoa? If so I would not move there, because I doubt there would be any new stores built for a long long time with how the economy is, especially in FL (and even more especially in Brevard once the shuttle program ends.) I'm sure there are many deals to be had all over Brevard, so look for them in an area where you want to be.
