Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good storage place to use in Melbourne? We will be storing all of our furniture & household stuff for a few months until we buy a home. I have never used storage before so I don't even know what to look for. If anyone has any info, I would really appreciate it!

Depends on what you're storing. If you're storing any wooden furniture, you'll need climate controlled storage. Florida humidity can wreak havoc on your nice wood, warping it and ruining the finish. Since you'll be storing a lot of your stuff, security is the next most important thing. Interior units are generally better protected than exterior units.

If you need climate control, looks like Suntree Self Storage and Uncle Bob's on N Wickham have units for under $40/mo. That's probably a good place to start looking:

I use Apollo storage near the airport on Apollo Blvd. Very very clean, good experience. Not as crowded as the Bob's I looked at but they and others are probably fine too.

Uncle Bobs is not 40 dollars a month....We got our first month free, but for a 5x10 (not very big at all) its 92 dollars a month. Most other storage places are about the same as well.
