My son will going off to school for aviation in Daytona...we're planning on a visit there soon...my background is radio broadcasting and I'm also a pilot (private). I will looking for the best area to live in. My wife and I are in our late 50's and looking for a nice quite area of Daytona Beach and will be looking for work. Any suggestions??

Since no one has posted suggestions.
Jobs will be the hard part. Daytona is tourist area so mostly service jobs.
Beachside just stay away from A1A because of congestion and activity during spring break, race weeks, bike week and it gets quieter. If I lived up that way I would consider South toward Ponce inlet and maybe even New Smyrna Beach rather than close in in Daytona beach.

Daytona Beach Ormond Beach Florida Waterfront Luxury Real Estate Homes and Listings

PS. i'm not advocating this real estate company, the link is just for info about the area.
