I am moving to Fl from CA in August. We own our own business and are moving with us so a commute is not an issue. I need great schools as I have a 2 1/2 ur old that soon will be in the public school system and I have a son getting ready to enter his jr year in high school.

Im looking for as "small" town as I can get. I want to also be decently close to the beach (under 20 minutes).

Ive spent MANY hours on line researching towns, however, it does not help as some ppls have amazing things to say on a town while others have very negative (all on the same town).

I thank you in advance for your help!

I just moved here last month, south side of Titusville. I did a lot of research before moving, crime , taxes, housing prices, etc., I think I made a good choice coming here, no regrets.

Why did you chose Titusville as opposed to Melbourne/Palm Bay in terms of taxes? If I may ask?

I never considered either of those towns, can't really comment on their taxes. I'm happy with my present location.

I lived in Viera/Suntree area of Melbourne for 9 years. It's clean, beautiful, safe and has the best schools, in my opinion, in the Melbourne/Palm Bay are. I lived in both Viera and Suntree during that time, and both were great. My oldest went to Viera High, and it was a very good school. We were 1 hr from Orlando, 15 minutes from the beach and close to shopping. I would pick that area again if I ever moved back to the Melbourne area. Good luck.
