We always stay at Oceanfront LaQuninta..not the other one on the main rd. The oceanfront, has a great staff and free breakfast. Plus two steps and you are on the beach!!

Ask a question, then cut down the answers you get? Ever heard of Google? .....It is a beach town with a major cruise port in Florida. Of course it has all the major hotels.

Google? what is a google? hmmmmmm do you work for them? I guess Google has a live human STAFF WHO replies with firsthand experience, and who lives in the area. Which hotel does google usually stay at?

If you can't reply with a decent and helpful answer -- um, don't! There's a thought.

A lot of the people who post on this particular part of the forum live locally.

Which hotel do you think people who live in this area usually stay at?

There are lots of hotels around here. How the hell would I know which are any good? - I live in my house, I don't stay in local hotels.

If you want advice on hotels, then it might be an idea either to ask for it on a forum which supports those who use hotels or Google or Tripadvisor.

There's a thought.

Take a breath, mellow out a little. <g> Really nothing wrong with asking on this board because some people are fellow tourists who read this and some of us do put friends and relatives in hotels on the beach sometimes so we do know what we like. We are farther South though, so we usually have relatives stay at the Hilton, Double Tree, or in our favorite -Crown Plaza- down by Melbourne rather than the Cocoa Beach hotels.

One word of advice for the OP though is remember that a hotel in Cocoa Beach that is listed on A1A might not actually be oceanfront.....some sections of A1A can be 2 blocks from the beach.
