Hey all,

Every year my buddies and I come down to Merritt Island to do some Fishin, Golfin, and Beach sittin. This is our third year coming down, and we love the area, but I was curious if anyone could help point me in the direction of some kind of night life. I know there are gentlemen's clubs, but that isn't really my style. There are so many young people at the beach during the day, where do they go at night? Are there any bars in the area that have a fun scene at night? Any info or comments are appreciated, thanks!

Sam

The Island Waterfront Bar and Grill is a fun place. It's something of a locals hangout on the water on Merritt Island. The food leaves something to be desired, but they mix a good drink for a reasonable price and offer live music a lot.

+1 on Port Canaveral if you like assortments of restaurants, seafood, tiki bar, charter fishing or fishing off the jetty, gambling day cruises, 3-wheel scooter rentals, etc.

Port Canaveral

Spend the winters there...never bored.

Check out downtown Melbourne the second Friday of the month. The Friday fest street festival can get pretty packed at times

Kind of a touristy place but my nieces always go there when they come down. Must be fun because they stay to the wee hours. Sandbar Sports Grill and Bar | Restaurant and Bar Beachside in Cocoa Beach Florida.
