Default Yup!

I have family there and my Dad lives in the next town over, Melbourne.

The housing is slightly cheaper than other parts of Florida and there are some jobs. Big technology sector. Well, for Florida.

My cousin has four kids. The last one recently graduated. She liked the school system. I'm not so sure about it. Only one turned out that well, but that might just be them!

If you insist on coming to Florida I would highly recommend the town.

Palm Bay is a drained swamp that they developed and sold to out-of-area suckers ERRRR buyers in the 60's and 70's. Word has it that the developers went to jail over the whole thing. The market finally came around in the 90's, but I haven't been over there in a long time. It's basically a giant subdivision. Back then it was pretty ugly, but if it got built up and landscaped it could possibly look ok.

A lot of Florida is like that.

Cape Coral was basically a ****. They'd fly those people down there in the 60s and promise them a "community." Instead it turned out to be acres and acres of canals and not much else.

The area didn't develop for years.

I laugh about it now. Those same people that got "scammed" in the 60s, paying a couple of thousand dollars for a "useless" plot? Imagine if they sold it in August of 2005.

I didn't swear. I wonder why it did that? I said "scammed" without the ED?

Don't know, but I'm getting a kick out of what gets automatically *******-ed! Did you see Nancy Lynne's post that had a **** substituted for the "****" in "****ay"?! Is **** a bad word I've never heard before?

Wow it gave me the asterisks again for nothing bad. She was saying yeah, hurray! How about I spell it "hurray" and the "hurr" was what was censored.

I have seen alot of data entry jobs in Palm Bay, does anyone know anything about this. My family are wanting to relocate to this area. Husband is in IT, and Im in Mgmt. We have both been laid off here in SC within 2 weeks of each other. Any advise or help in this area. Our Credit is great and have a house here to sell. So finding a place to live will be no problem, just the job hunting is hurting us.
