I think it really depends on the amount of and size of the vegitation to be cleared. More growth, more cost. I haven't had a lot cleared in many years, but likely will cost several thousand dollars. Could go to twenty thousand or more if covered with mature, high trees.
If prepping to build, consider fill needed as well to bring the property up to correct elevation for a house. More dollars for sure.
Lastly, anyone who owns a vacant lot in Palm Bay and is considering clearing it for a future project, keep in mind that once it's cleared, you need to maintain its cleared appearance. Keeping the natural growth, will rarely require touching or maintaining the property unless it becomes a problem for a neighbor. A cleared lot can be worth more if selling, but I always liked some mature trees on it for future beauty and shade when investing in lots. I would visualize which trees to keep and plan the house around it. But I that is my taste.
Hope this helps.
