Still scheduled for 6:56 PM. This will be the 2nd to last Delta IV launches. Boosters will not be landing and there should be a good white plume of smoke in the sky. Should be pretty at sunset, but if there is a delay there is a 2 hour window so it will become a beautiful night launch. It is supposed to be a clear night so a chance to see from a distance.

Also if planning to make the trip to Titusville to watch, the Space Coast Warbird Air Show is this weekend.

And down in Cocoa Beach we have the Beach and Board Fest this weekend.

Beach 'N Boards Fest – brought to you by Ron Jon Surf Shop

Should be a fun weekend.

I'm hoping for a slight delay, because I'll be driving home from work at that time. Plus the two rockets will be returning to Cape Canaveral. Should be a fun one. Traffic will probably be a nightmare on A1A.

I watched the two side boosters as they did their first braking burn at high altitude and then coasted until very close to the landing site when they did their final braking burn. Pretty awesome sight. The two double sonic booms arrived after the boosters were already on the ground.
