Where in Pa? The major cities in Pa have some of the best hospitals in the country.

Who ever is telling you there are no good doctors in Brevard is maybe just a Florida hater. Some people on Florida message boards are only here to cut down everything about Florida.

But:

Since you are so concerned and seem to want there to be no specialists here, you might want to consider living closer to Jacksonville for Mayo Clinic.

Cleveland Clinic Hospitals are in several areas South of Brevard.

Gainesville at UF is where some doctors here refer to other specialists for really bad cases.

For Cancer Moffitt in Tampa is thought highly of too.

Getting to all of the major cities like Tampa, Jacksonville, Miami etc for a transplant etc. you would be closer than the 4 hour drive you do now.

Tampa is about 2 1/2 to 3 hours from Brevard County. They’re practically opposite each other on the narrowest part of the state.

Have you decided on where to move? I am glad you posted this. I am a senior too, would luv to return to Brevard County Florida in May 2023 if housing prices have decreased by then. No major medical issues, but here in Roanoke, Virginia I get my medical & dental services free, prescriptions too. Just blood pressure & chlolesteral so far. I do not want to burden my only child with my expenses but need to move closer to her as I age. She lives in Melbourne.
