Where is an inexpensive place to do wet or dry storage for a boat in the intercoastal area of melbourne or merritt island area. We have a small boat 19 foot runabout.

You know, I have done both dry storage, trailering as well as keep the boat in the water. I think I prefer trailering the best. The drawback of dry storage for me was besides the cost. I didn't like the restrictions. I was not allowed to work on my boat or bring in a mechanic. You had to use their mechanic. The hours were restrictive as well as I had stuff stolen off the boat. With the trailer I can do what ever I want. Once you develop some trailering skills it is easy. My comments may not apply to your situation and dry storage may be what you need to do, but it took some of the fun of boat ownership out of it for me. I liked tinkering with my boat. I rebuilt my own engines and do most anything the boat needs. I just after a while hated the dry storage BS they put me through. Just one more person screwing with you.

Trailer storage is going to be much cheaper, and the closer it is to the water the more it will cost. I have a friend who has a lot in Cocoa just north of the 528 & US1 who charges $50.00 a month.
