Path to Nirvana...'Inside', simply put.
Nothing complicated....spending time in stillness going within.

If I were asked, if I may contribute, I would say because I started out just wanting some peace of mind
and wisdom, as a 19 yr old, and to be content, confident, oh and find Truth ....then, all of a sudden I slipped into Bliss.
From that point nothing was the same...all of a sudden everything was in color
instead of black and white....and I could not go back to black and white.

One taste of (whatever one calls it*) Bliss*....and that is what you want forever and ever and ever.

*Samadhi, Nirvana, Satchitanad, Reality,Truth, God, Heaven, the Absolute,
when the Illusion is recognized as an illusion, when nothing is seen as separate, the Awakening,
Enlightenment, and so on.

Great comments. Stillness and simplicity are underrated in this country/culture. So many are caught up in activities and 'burning time', while missing the sweet quiet within that can bring peace and happiness.

P.S. This particular area of the forum is a breath of fresh air. Extremists in other areas suffocate any worthwhile discussion (too many tripping over themselves to push their ignorances and agendas). Zen-on, beautiful people.

That seems like a reasonable answer to me. And what would you do when you get wisdom and peace?....enjoy being in it, what else? I'm with ya on that one.

Sorry, my friend, I just got this.
Well, I must say...I 'got' wisdom and peace many years ago...what I am doing with it is amazing...
(as in, I am watching the play). Altering my entire home for months to take in a family member due to the death of a spouse, blabla.....thus, changing every single thing I set up for my simple, easy retirement ALONE in peace...now caretaking,
(and not some easy person with no baggage!),
and seeing myself flow and be detached....each morning forgetting the day before and giving love and humor.

Detachment and Kindness are not just temples in China!

But still...in my alone time...peace and wisdom are easy in my exp...being in Awareness 24/7...
Awareness of the Infinite One...Who permeates every single thing...the Consciousness in my walls and outside in my trees...now THAT is how wisdom works ...to know that is the Goal of anything...
to be 'with it', 'part of it'....absorbed in It...the One we are all 'in'.

Nothing matters here...nothing at all...except love and all it's many manifestations*.

* kindness, non-judgment, forgiveness, charity, service, humor, friendship
