I can't imagine any houses that new being in Niagara Falls. Even the nice homes in Lasalle area of Niagara Falls are not as new as that.
I have seen houses like that on the outskirts of lockport, and there are a ton in Wheatfield exactly like that, but not Niagara Falls to the best of my knowledge.
If I had to hazard a guess, that looks like houses in the newer developments in Wheatfield.
Thanks for you thoughts guys. I thought it was closer to the bridge which you can cross from Canada. I seem to remember crossing and walking to a small mall near by. But this was 10 years ago so I might be wrong. If that sounds like anywhere you may know.
Well that hotel, the Skyline Brock, is now the Crowne Plaza Fallsview.
Info on the the hotel history:
The building which is now known as the Crowne Plaza was originally built in 1929 as the Hotel General Brock. It was bought by Sheraton in the 1950s and operated for more than forty years as the Brock-Sheraton Hotel. In the 1990s, the property was renamed the Skyline Brock, and then became the Brock Plaza Hotel in the early 2000s. Eventually, the resort property was renamed the Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls-Fallsview Hotel in 2008.

Might that bridge possibly be the Rainbow Bridge?
After looking at it a bit closer I'm almost 100% certain that bridge is the Rainbow Bridge. Pic appears to have been taken just before reaching Canada and the customs/immigration booths.
Gosh it looks old in that pic. What year did you say that was taken?
