Info on colleges in Buffalo (or area) (Worth: real estate, house prices)

Hello,

I'm currently a Political Science major attending college in the Dallas / Fort Worth area down in Texas and I'm looking to transfer up to Buffalo in two semesters for my senior year, then looking at a possibility at law school after that.

I'm looking for some opinions as to which colleges have the best Political Science / pre-law programs and their requirements for transfer students. As long as it's not too strict, I should be fine GPA wise. Also, I'm looking for information on the best Law Schools in the area, though that's a secondary concern at the moment.

General comments about the area are also welcome.

I would think that the University of Buffalo would be the way to go in terms of everything you are looking for academically.
