Why are you trying to mock Mr. Salvatore's ethnicity? It is not only wrong, your bigotted characterization of his accent is off the mark. Mr. Salvatore hosts a weekly TV show about restaurants and exhibits little if any accent at all.

I was at a banquet in Salvatore's Italian Gardens and I found the food to be ho-hum, nothing special. Maybe their restaurant is better, but I expected more than iceburg lettuce salads, and ho-hum entree's when I'm wearing a suit and tie.

For those looking for good BBQ, I really like Kentucky Greg's. They have two locations one in Cheektowaga, one in the Southtowns.

Pano's on elmwood is my favorite midpriced lunch/dinner. I love their greek salads with chicken, and all of their dinner entrees have been very good.

Their restaurant is indeed much better, but I think Russell's is superior to the original Salvatore's

I prefer BW's but I also like Texas Style BBQ over that North Carolina/Southeastern US garbage.

Thank you so much for this recommendation! I just went to the one in Depew and it was so good! It made me feel a little more like I was back in Texas!

Anyone willing to go to Lockport? Accidentally happened on a small restaurant (reasonably casual) called the Hearth and Vine today. We ate for less than you'd pay elsewhere.... the food was fantastic. Look up the restaurant. Worth the drive if you are going north or live north or are going to the Falls or Lockport and anywhere around there. Its on Rt. 93, west of Transit ( Rt. 78) a few miles. [I had the salmon and it was out of this world.]

At the place my wife and I had gotten married, The Hearth restaurant in Chaffee, NY, we stopped for lunch to make sure we would like the food before hand, and I had the prime rib, and it was so delicious that we made sure it was served for the wedding. It's on Olean Rd.

Anyone know where (or if, for that matter!) you can get a good chicken fried steak?
