I'll be taking my biannual trip to Buffalo very shortly. As usual, I'm always searching for a good place to eat. A quick Google search turned up Louie's Texas Red Hots 2811A Bailey Ave. Any opinions on this place? I realize the 'hood might not be the best, but I just plan on eating and not doing much hanging around.
They do have another location at Delaware & Hertel if you would feel more comfortable there. I don't know much about them; I usually go to Ted's on Sheridan when I'm looking for that kind of meal.
Not sure if it is the same company, but there is a Louie's on Harlem Rd in West Seneca. They have a pretty good dog, and its a nice area. It's not too hard to cook sahlen's hot dogs on an electric grill, and put chili and onions on there.
Teds is a different animal, the charcoal grilled dog is very different from the "slime dog" at Louies. I like them both!
Teds... or Sahlens natural casing dogs on a charcoal grill in somebody's back yard. Webers mustard. Yum.
God man, I'm hungry now... I'm tempted to fire up the grill at 11PM now
