I lived there so I could walk down Main Street and hit all the watering holes and the lone movie theatre. I like enjoyed the quiet nature of the place.

Colleen, you must not know the area. The 400 is the only Expressway. There are tons of decent roads which go down that way.

The nice thing about E. Aurora is it is accessible. Go south on 78 or 16 and you wind up in the village. 78 turns into 20A/78 there and it goes east west. Rt. 16 goes farther south to Holland. Lots of roads go north south which are a darn sight easier on the eyes than the 400. When we go down that way, we go down Bowen into Girdle. We avoid all the expressways unloess there is a reason to drive on a dull faceless road.

If you go to Albany all the time, try 20 or 5... it is really a lot nicer.
