My boyfriend and I are looking into moving into Williamsville Village (WNY Apartments Online > Location Search > Williamsville Village) but I can't find much about the apartments online. I was wondering if anyone has lived here and could tell me how they were?
Was there a specific apartment complex you had in mind? Your link is not to an individual property and there are quite a few apartments in the village and other parts of 14221 outside the actual village.
Interesting. I actually lived there back around 1997-1998. It was a nice quiet complex at the time. All 2br units as I recall.
Obviously it's been a lot of years. I don't know about current management but I drive by there enough to know that the place has always been kept up from the outside. I know the area all around there like the back of my hand!
You're in a safe area. A majority of your neighbors will likely be older folks. You can walk north on Union up to Main St for grocery store shopping at Tops, the Metro bus stops there at Main & Union. You have Spot Coffee and McDonalds right there on that corner too. Once you get to Main St, there are just a ton of stores, restaurants, bars, etc.
You are also close enough to walk south on Union to Abbey Square (Union & Wehrle) and McPartlans (Wehrle & S. Forest/Beach). Abbey has decent bar, bands, open pretty late. McPartlans has great food (try their fish fry!) and an older bar crowd.
Not sure what else to tell you. I wish I had more recent info on the actual apartment.
If you have any questions about the area, fire away. I grew up in Williamsville and am in the village all the time.
Good luck with your move!
