Speaking of fruitcakes = The local tv station's with every single new cast at 12, 5, 6, & 11
does a live shot at Canalside saying how much is going on and interviewing someone supposely
from out of town (usually either old woman or overweight woman) and there so impressed with canal side & Buffalo, and there's the Buffalo Newspaper with daily story's about how someone left Buffalo
and came back because of the rebirth or how much better Buffalo is then any place in the country
or the world. in Buffalo Rebirth = Rebranding of the same old same old. Yesterday Buffalo ran out of
ambulance's AGAIN and had delayed responses of over 30 minutes because the closest available
ambulance came from Niagara Falls and had to request mutual aid from Twin City Ambulance
from the City of Tonawanda, This has been going on for over 3 years, Who are the fruitcakes ?

What is this thing about ambulances? How do you know about this while you are in North Las Vegas?

Tanlegs, I watched ch4 yesterday with a contrasting story depicting that Buffalo's east side (I think it was east) is getting forgotten in all the hoopla regarding Buffalo's resurgence. Heard comments from a bright young kid in a rough neighborhood pleading for help (bad roads, crime, etc) and comments from a UB (I think) professor claiming roots in racism as to where money gets diverted. And heard comments from the mayor indicating lots has been invested in the east side, contrasting the professor.

Anyway, based on your posts, I speculate you have genuine points regarding the ambulance/fire/paramedics issues you've raised and you have some type of personal connection, and based on this you spin everything Buffalo to the negative. Doing this, it's difficult to take you seriously.

They be trolls. That's why I've stayed out of this thread. I don't feed the cretins.

Which is exactly why the comparison is dumb. Cary is probably the wealthiest suburb in NC (outside a few neighborhoods in CLT), being compared to inner city Buffalo. I'm sure there are suburbs of Buffalo that have a high median family income as well. I don't have time to research this, perhaps someone else can,

but I think East Amherst, Clarence, and Orchard Park are probably up there in the $80k range as well.

Your last sentence is right, as all 3 school districts have a median household income around $80k.

Ironically, Cary wouldn't be the most affluent suburban community/area in Upstate NY.

Now is this in regards to response times and coverage?

Also, does it let you know about the priority of the calls?
