Hello I am going to a concert the last weekend of July it's at the Darien lake amphitheater .

I was wondering if anyone has experience going there if the lawn seats are worth it or would I not be able to hear or see the concert ?

Also is this venue where the lake and amusement park is ?

Can anyone recommend a hotel that's not ghetto that is possibly walking distance to the venue? Budget around 100-115 .

Lawn's alright, but the sound isn't that great there especially towards the middle/back.

And yes, the venue is right next to the amusement park... There are two entrances to the concert venue; one in the parking lots and one inside the amusement park.

I think the best bet for a hotel may be in Batavia, but I would check to make sure.

You can always google "hotels Darien lake" and it shows a list of nearby hotels covering as broad a swath as possible. Econo Lodge is nearby. I have never been there, but it is the closest except for the Resort accommodations (which are sold out).
