K-mart is big for everyone, everything, everywhere, in all times, past, present, and eternity. The size of the universe is but a microscopic dust particle compared to that of THE K-mart.

Yes ckh, you have seen the light. Go into the light, a light brighter than imaginable yet infinitely pleasing to the eye, a light that will viva longer than eternity. That light is a sign but no ordinary sign... a sign that spells a series of letters which when placed together clearly reveal a divine origin. Those letters spell K-mart.
Just an FYI....the speed limit on the 198 is a little low but it was reduced back in spring 2015 as a result of a driver falling asleep at the wheel and driving into Delaware park, killing a small boy and injuring his sister. So, their was a reason for the speed limit being so slow there.
Also with over 45 years of losing population's & WNY lost 99% of it's Industries. They are now down grading expressway's to parkways because they are no longer needed because there's no traffic anymore. Erie County Highway's were built for a population of 2 Million , It's now around 900,000 and declining every year.

We did not lose 99% of industries. There are still over 50,000 people in the metro area that work in the manufacturing sector. As for traffic, it seems as if the morning commutes are getting more traffic, not less (although i have no data to back it up). Finally, census estimates reveal the decline has all but stopped. And since the census usually underestimates upstate NY, erie county may have gained population. Plus, there have been over 1,000 new housing unites constructed in erie county just so far in 2016.
Actually WNY population loss's are speeding up every year. In 2008 WNY was losing 3,500 residents a year and it was considered brain drain. Now in the last census in 2014 it's up to 5,236 long term residents leaving in just one year and it's considered a slight population loss ? The population loss's are so bad and that their trying to off set the number by claiming 20,000 immigrants from other countries came in the last 5 years knowing that there is no way to track immigrant's from other countries and the US census caught it
1,000 new builds(most were patio homes) for a whole county in a year ? That's it ? most place's have 1 new subdivision or 1 Master Planned community have well over 1,000, 3,000 or 4,000 new builds times 100's of developments, But then again WNY is not a major city anymore and the last thing hanging on a shoe string is having a NFL team,

Refugee's are coming to WNY to get the freebies, buy a house for $1, NYS pays the highest welfare , free top medical insurance, free college education, but as the thousand's & thousand's of the long term taxing paying residents continue moving to other well run booming area's of the country. The remaining tax paying residents taxes are skyrocketing up every year.

No, certain parts of the country are relocation hubs, like St. Louis and St. Petersburg FL for Bosnians, the Twin Cities for multiple groups and some of the Upstate NY cities, among others.
Many are sponsored by organizations like Catholic Charities, as an example. This has been going on for decades.
Anyway, what are some of the changes, similar to the OP, that you have noticed in the area?
