Judging by how the Sabres and Bills have been run with the Pegulas in charge so far, I'm not surprised at all that building sold for so much

The building still probably needs $3-4 million in rehab costs. Crazy.
Lead, mold and asbestos?

They have it who f cares

Who cares what they paid. They will rehab it and spruce up the neighborhood further. We should be thankful we have the Pegulas. Why inject negativity into a positive development?

There are some people that can't help themselves. No matter how great the news is in Buffalo they will find a negative. Some sort of mental illness (and it applies to lots of posters commenting on other cities on this site).

Speaking of metal illness, Facts & Stats say Buffalo & WNY's population loss's are speeding up every year and every Erie County City, Town & Village have massive deficit's coming every year without raising property taxes significantly every year because of the shrinking tax base's & sky rocketing costs of providing of the service's = Governments workers are already the highest paid workers in the country and still receive yearly raises, Pension spiking is out of control and nothing is being done to stop it. 6 figure cash out at retirement for unused sick & vacation time in a whole 30+ year career, increasing yearly longevity pay , skyrocketing costs of benefits & Medical insurance for current & future employees & retirees and nothing is being done to fix it, not even a whisper. Both the City of Buffalo & Erie County Control Boards have been in power for nearly 10 years and are both silent. Also with decades with very very little to No Private Investment has taking it's toll. Just keep on ignoring reality and keep on living in the delusional world of Buffalo Love & One Buffalo. The rest of the country calls it a cult or metal illness, But when the Local Newspaper & TV Stations are constantly saying Buffalo is booming over & over & over & over & over at noon, 5pm 6pm 10pm 11pm 7 days a week non stop, it's working on the weak minded

Speaking of San Diego, you told me San Diego has bad neighborhoods just like Buffalo
I'm still waiting for you to show me where ? I can't find anywhere in San Diego that looks like a
zombie apocalypse has happened and has 3rd World Country Conditions. If Anything,
San Diego's poorer area's look like Buffalo's better area's
