We have all seen the posts by a certain bitter exWNYer bringing up all the deficiencies in Buffalo and WNY. They totally ignore all the positive changes that have been happening and denigrate each and every one of them. The poster is not alone in these views and I believe that the area is finally getting a more positive vibe which is the opposite of what the poster preaches. Let the lifelong unhappy miserable people leave for "greener pastures" and Buffalo/WNY will be the better for it.

Who's the real one miserable ? You must be looking at yourself in mirror or your looking out the window at reality.
Name one thing I said is not Reality or Fact ? and prove it ?

I think it's impossible to ignore the improvement and re-bound the region is making. It's basically being driven solely from Pegula's vision and his private Fracking money but certainly downtown has significantly improved and canalside is fantastic. Even though I can readily admit the region has had significant improvement today compared to 5 years ago, I still want to leave when I can get my ducks in a row. It's just not an easy state to live in, NY being dominated by our downstate (and city)liberal politicians makes life difficult and burdensome. I will be moving to a more friendly, hospitable area when I am able to do so.

This is actually why I like Buffalo so much. A lot of these people have been filtered out, and many of the people who remain are actually happy and excited to live in the area. Buffalo has a lot more spirit than a lot of the places I've been.
