Canada currency (Buffalo: credit card, store, pay)

Hello, when travelling to Canada from US, did you pay with credit card and did the bank charge you conversion fee later? Would you recommend to exchange to Canadian dollar after crossing the border? Thanks.

I carry a Visa to Canada. They are better liked than MasterCard. I have not had much of an exchange issue in years, because we are usually "at par".

Anywhere you see "at par", your $ = their $

Hello, can anyone direct me where I can exchange US dollar to Canada dollar once I cross the bridge to Canada? We will drive further to Toronto and would like to have some cash. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you can at the duty free store right at the bridge

I have gone to my local bank in Buffalo (M&T) to exchange currency before crossing, just to ensure I have some cash on hand. It may be worth asking your own local bank if they can exchange before you leave.
