Not necessarily, I keep looking at housing and rentals and follow the news, police Facebook page.
I've also been recently considering some areas in the Albany/capital district bc the snow/ice in wny is concerning. I'm definitely getting out of OC, though. Even though I get a cola for living here, it's not even worth it.
I really like the Buffalo area, though. I'm looking into Glen Falls, Rotterdam and Greenbush for Albany district. Kingston/Lake Katrine might be an option, too. Though I don't think that I'd be too far ahead with Kingston bc it's a bit cheaper to rent but it might be a wash by losing the cola.
