I hope all you complainers are voting Yes on the constitutional convention. Things will never change otherwise.

He/she is a perpetual trasher of Buffalo and uses different names on here but the message is always the same. Long time posters on here that like Buffalo are tired of it. I am not saying there is not an element of truth in what he/she writes but its always negative.

I know about the so-called "trasher" but that has nothing to do with the subject of discussion. I like Buffalo too, being born and raised in Lake View, but New York has some very serious problems and pointing them out should not be a reason to attack the messenger.

When two people have a poor opinion of an area, why is collusion suspected?

Maybe just not everybody has a glowing opinion of the area.

I think it has as much to do with the fact that a lot of this can be found in media and people generally get a less glowing view of said area anyway. So, bringing out another side can actually bring a balanced view of the area.

Also, even the “pro” Buffalo people tend to also bring up shortcomings in regards to the area and many of the posters that have a less than favorable view tend to not live in the state, let alone the area, anymore.

I will also say that having been on this forum for a while, a lot of posts are based off of assumptions or generalizations. So, what may be viewed as a truth to said poster, may not actually be one in reality or may be based off of an exception/select circumstances.
