All of Erie Countys towns are raising they property taxes again West Seneca 's are going up 12% Every year they raise property taxes and give raises to all of the government workers & pension spiking remains out of control
Maybe you better look at the US Census. Even with all the refugees from other countries coming to Buffalo. Buffalo is still bleeding its long term residents who payed taxes
You people attack the guy who complains about taxes going ever higher.......do you hear yourselves?
He/she is a perpetual trasher of Buffalo and uses different names on here but the message is always the same. Long time posters on here that like Buffalo are tired of it. I am not saying there is not an element of truth in what he/she writes but its always negative.
I know about the so-called "trasher" but that has nothing to do with the subject of discussion. I like Buffalo too, being born and raised in Lake View, but New York has some very serious problems and pointing them out should not be a reason to attack the messenger.

When two people have a poor opinion of an area, why is collusion suspected?
Maybe just not everybody has a glowing opinion of the area.

I think it has as much to do with the fact that a lot of this can be found in media and people generally get a less glowing view of said area anyway. So, bringing out another side can actually bring a balanced view of the area.
Also, even the “pro” Buffalo people tend to also bring up shortcomings in regards to the area and many of the posters that have a less than favorable view tend to not live in the state, let alone the area, anymore.
I will also say that having been on this forum for a while, a lot of posts are based off of assumptions or generalizations. So, what may be viewed as a truth to said poster, may not actually be one in reality or may be based off of an exception/select circumstances.
