It depends on your income of course, but assuming you're middle class, there's a lot of Indians in the Town of Amherst, in a neighborhood called Gettzville. There's a Hindu temple & Sikh temple nearby. It's also close the University at Buffalo.

If the houses there are out of your price range, there is a small Indian community in Cheektowaga as well but I couldn't say exactly where.

Anyways, there aren't a lot of Indians here compared to places like New York or New Jersey. There are parts of the city of Buffalo that are diverse, but there is no real Indian community there. Anywhere but Buffalo proper & Amherst you will see a lot of racism.

I believe that there is a concentration in the city of Buffalo west of Main Street near UB. Census Tract 004601 in Erie County, New York

You might consider contacting SUNY Buffalo . They will be able to tell you where you many of their Indian students are located.

You most likely will find it is Amherst. [Used to be in the Sweethome Schools District, but I imagine many have moved away from it]

That's a college neighborhood though. Just a few hundred students that happen to be Indian in a mixed community of other college students. That's also a terrible place to live if you have a job or a family.

It may depend on your job and stays in terms of having a family or not. There are nearby areas in the city that may work as well.

According to this, there are over 1000 Indians in that school district: Sweet Home Central School District Population and Races - USA.comâ„¢

It is likely due to college students, but some are probably families.

Also, according to the last available NYSED School Report Card(2015-2016), Sweet Home HS’s grad rate was 88% in 2015 and 85% in 2016. More information: https://data.nysed.gov/gradrate.php?...d=800000052982

In terms of school districts, Williamsville has a little under 2700 Indian residents and they make up a little over 3% of the district population: Williamsville Central School District Population and Races - USA.comâ„¢
